The traditional diamond shape was a round cut, though nowadays there are numerous ‘fancy shapes’ available.
There are pear-shaped diamonds, oval cut diamonds, square cut diamonds, cushion diamond shapes and many more, such as marquise diamonds, baguette diamonds, heart-shaped diamonds, briolette, emerald, Asscher, radiant, and other specialised diamond shapes.
