Diamond symmetry means how the facets of a diamond as well as other parts are ‘arranged’. Diamond symmetry can be fair, good, very good and excellent and becomes most pertinent when the diamond grade is high.
The difference between different levels of diamond symmetry can be hard to distinguish for the untrained eye, so it is questionable as to whether it is worth paying more money to invest in a diamond that has greater symmetry.
